Pepa Bubbler
The Spirit: The Pepa Bubbler is an instrument for daily ceremony, a form that honors the transition from the raw earth to the refined ritual. Pepa is a study of mineral and silt, representing ancestral origins and the quiet persistence of stone.
The Form: A weighted, architectural silhouette hand-thrown in off-white clay. The exterior is finished in a matte, stone-like glaze with minimal, singular speckling. A wide, clear-glazed rim provides a clean, tactile contrast, while the clear-glazed interior ensures clarity and hygiene.
The Making: Wheel-thrown form. Glaze was applied through a rolling technique, resulting in a sparse, minimalist distribution of "seeds," allowing the form and the clay body to lead the conversation.
