Pepa Eje
The Form: The Eje is a sculptural relief where two distinct geometries meet. It features a hand-formed axis point suspended over a broad, circular backdrop.
The Spirit: Eje is the axis. In the Pepa series, this form carries a dense, archaeological energy. The reactive mineral glaze allows black manganese "seeds" to bloom across the surface like rain-worn granite, making the piece feel like a calligraphic stone found in a riverbed.
The Making: Each element is hand-cut and finished to a refined thinness to maintain a wearable weight. Because of the layered ceramic components, the Eje should be handled with intention and treated as a precious sculptural object. Finished with high-quality gold-plated sterling silver posts.
