The Form: A centered, circular plate balanced by two vertical forms. The Pepa Pendulum is defined by its reactive, mineral-heavy glaze. Through a single, intentional dip, the black "pepas" (seeds) emerge from the matte white surface like rain-worn granite. It is a striking focal point that carries the visual presence and impact of an artifact.

The Spirit: As its name suggests, this piece is about the center of gravity. It is the weight of a stone rendered in clay, grounding, rhythmic, and celestial. It is designed for the wearer who seeks a sense of internal balance and an outward connection to the earth.

The Making: Each component is hand-built and hand-cut. The speckling is a natural chemical reaction within the kiln; as the minerals in the glaze heat, they "bloom" through the surface, ensuring that no two patterns are ever the same. Despite its expansive scale, the Pendulum remains remarkably wearable (approx. 2.6 oz). The result is an art object for the body that should be handled as a precious heirloom.
