The Spirit: An intimate instrument of power, the Runa Pipe translates high-frequency ceremony into a compact, personal form. Serving as a canvas for bold, hand-painted marks that feel both ancestral and futuristic, it acts as an anchor for the internal landscape.
The Form: An architectural, extra-terrestrial silhouette hand-thrown in off-white stoneware. The form is encased in a high-gloss clear glaze that serves as the backdrop for rhythmic, hand-painted black underglaze patterns. The bowl, carb, and mouthpiece are fully glazed for a smooth tactile experience and seamless ritual hygiene.
The Making: Wheel-thrown and hand-painted in a state of free-flow. The patterns are not premeditated; they are the physical record of a rhythmic moment in the studio. Every stroke is unique to the piece's specific topography.
