Lunar Link
The Form: The Lunar Link features a hand-pitted stoneware disc suspended from a gold-plated sterling silver hoop. It is a kinetic design that moves with the wearer, allowing the cratered "moon-surface" to catch and reflect the light from every angle.
The Spirit: The Link represents the connection between the terrestrial and the celestial. In the Lunar series, the textured disc feels like a small fragment of a moon-wall, a tactile landscape for the ear. It is designed for the wearer who seeks a sophisticated, multi-layered silhouette with a soft, cosmic glow.
The Making: Each ceramic disc is hand-cut and meticulously pitted by hand to create its unique topography. I work the stoneware to a refined, lightweight profile, ensuring the piece is both structurally secure and visually airy. Due to the glass-like thinness of the ceramic element, the Link should be handled with care and stored as a fine sculptural object.

The record of the hand
Cloud Commons is a practice of slow, technical discipline. Every artifact is born from the earth, either wheel-thrown or hand-built ensuring that no two pieces are identical. These are records of a moment spent at the wheel or at the table, made to be handled, lived with, and kept for a lifetime.
