Aether Noir Espresso
The Form: A small-scale study in shadow and architectural contrast. Thrown on the wheel in rich brown stoneware, this espresso cup features a velvety matte black body, a high-gloss black lip, and a distinct circular tab handle. A delicate band of three hand-tooled ribs near the rim reveals the raw, warm clay beneath, breaking the darkness with a sharp linear accent.
The Spirit: Designed for a concentrated, intentional pause, this vessel elevates a brief espresso ritual into a moment of grounded focus.
The Making: Wheel-thrown and hand-finished, each cup is an individual study on the wheel, balancing the velvety matte underglaze with the glossy rim and raw clay body.

The record of the hand
Cloud Commons is a practice of slow, technical discipline. Every artifact is born from the earth, either wheel-thrown or hand-built ensuring that no two pieces are identical. These are records of a moment spent at the wheel or at the table, made to be handled, lived with, and kept for a lifetime.
