Aether Mer Bubbler
The Form: A monolithic study in linear geometry, grounded by the gravity of oceanic blue. Thrown and trimmed on the wheel, the body’s straight, hand-tooled ribs are saturated in a matte cobalt underglaze that draws the eye into its pigment. The unglazed collar and foot expose the warm stoneware beneath, accented by a clean, glossy white interior.
The Spirit: Designed as an architectural centerpiece for the ritual of smoke. The Aether Mer Bubbler brings a serene, deliberate presence to the table—a generous, balanced vessel where cool cobalt, smooth white porcelain accents, and raw stoneware converge in total harmony.
The Making: Wheel-thrown and hand-trimmed in small studio batches. The integrated downstem and removable bowl are hand-fitted to ensure a precise, seamless air seal, making each piece a singular specimen of wheel discipline and kiln chemistry.

The record of the hand
Cloud Commons is a practice of slow, technical discipline. Every artifact is born from the earth, either wheel-thrown or hand-built ensuring that no two pieces are identical. These are records of a moment spent at the wheel or at the table, made to be handled, lived with, and kept for a lifetime.
