Anima del Bosque | Totem Censer
The Spirit: A woodland guardian born from the forest floor. Ánima del Bosque (Spirit of the Forest) is an ancestral sculpture designed to animate incense smoke into a living, rising presence. Draped in a matte phthalo-teal coat and crowned by a canopy of branching horns, this masked figure holds vigil over sacred thresholds.
The Form: A tall, cylindrical guardian silhouette hand-sculpted in stoneware. The serene, masked face is framed by unglazed clay accents, while the back features sculpted, overlapping leaf textures. The crown erupts into a network of open, antler-like branch chimneys tipped in glossy marigold yellow. An arched chamber in the base houses your incense cone, channeling smoke upward to vent through the branching canopy.
The Making: Hand-thrown core encircled by individually hand-sculpted branch forms, face plates, and leaf details. Finished with a matte teal underglaze and hand-painted marigold tips.

The record of the hand
Cloud Commons is a practice of slow, technical discipline. Every artifact is born from the earth, either wheel-thrown or hand-built ensuring that no two pieces are identical. These are records of a moment spent at the wheel or at the table, made to be handled, lived with, and kept for a lifetime.
