The Spirit: A guardian spirit for the sacred threshold. The Sol Totem Censer is an ancestral sculpture designed to transform incense smoke into a visual offering. Rooted in the Pepa direction, its serene, meditating figure holds space in the home, crowned by a vivid marigold crest that radiates warmth and presence.
The Form: A seated, meditative silhouette hand-sculpted in off-white stoneware with a matte, stone-like silt glaze. The face and radiant floral crown are highlighted with vibrant marigold underglaze accents. An arched chamber in the back houses your incense cone, allowing smoke to rise dramatically through the carved crest.
The Making: Hand-thrown and sculpted in a state of free-flow, with every detail carved by hand. The marigold underglaze creates a striking, high-contrast frame against the natural speckling of the Pepa glaze body.
