The Spirit: An artifact of the deep night. The Noche Totem Censer is a cosmic guardian form enveloped in a tide of sculpted petals. Designed for high-frequency ritual, it cradles the incense smoke within its dark indigo core before releasing it in rhythmic plumes through its crown.
The Form: A smooth, deep cobalt dome figure adorned with an intricate, surrounding cloak of hand-formed petals. The central figure is finished in a rich, high-gloss dark blue underglaze, while the unglazed, natural stoneware edges of the surrounding petals provide a raw, tactile contrast.
The Making: Hand-thrown core encircled by individually hand-sculpted and attached petal forms.
