An architectural arch of hand-pitted stoneware.

The Form: A precise, vertical curve that defines the chest. The Arco is a study in tension and light, utilizing the high-contrast between the shadowed interior of the arch and the textured, off-white surface of the stoneware. It is a sharp, intentional silhouette for the deliberate wearer.

The Spirit: The Arco represents the intersection of the ancestral and the contemporary. The form is reminiscent of a structural vault, reimagined here as a wearable landmark. It is a piece that commands space while remaining reserved in its execution.

The Making: Each Arco is hand-cut and textured to a specific, refined thinness. By pushing the stoneware to this profile, the piece achieves a wearable weightlessness (approx. 2.9 oz). Because of this artistic refinement, the Arco should be handled with the same care as a fine sculptural object.

The Details:

  • Plate Dimensions: 5.25" W x 3.25" H

  • Hardware: Double-strand Japanese waxed cotton cord.

  • Adjustability: Hand-formed ceramic slider bead; approx. 17" cord lengths.

  • Finish: Hand-pitted white stoneware with signature ceramic endcaps.

The record of the hand

Cloud Commons is a practice of slow, technical discipline. Every artifact is born from the earth, either wheel-thrown or hand-built ensuring that no two pieces are identical. These are records of a moment spent at the wheel or at the table, made to be handled, lived with, and kept for a lifetime.
