The Form: A study in mineral texture and refined metal. The Pepa Link features a hand-formed stoneware disc with a reactive "blooming" glaze, suspended from a gold-plated sterling silver hoop. It is a kinetic, articulated design that contrasts the raw, speckled nature of the earth with a polished gold silhouette.

The Spirit: Pepa is the seed. In the Link family, it represents a "found stone" reimagined for the body. The reactive manganese "seeds" create a natural, organic pattern that feels unearthed rather than made. It is a piece for the wearer who seeks a grounded, archaeological aesthetic.

The Making: The ceramic discs are hand-cut and dipped in a mineral-heavy glaze. This ensures that no two "Link" specimens are ever identical. I work the stoneware to a deliberate, wearable thinness that remains visually substantial. Due to the sophisticated nature of the ceramic element, the Pepa Link should be handled with care and treated as a precious sculptural artifact.

The Details:

  • Dimensions: Ceramic disc approx. 1.5" Diameter; Hoop 0.5 x 0.75”.

  • Total dimensions: 1.5 x 2”.

  • Weight: Approx. 0.7 oz (per pair).

  • Hardware: Gold-plated sterling silver hoops.

  • Finish: Mineral-rich "Pepa" speckle on matte off-white stoneware.

The record of the hand

Cloud Commons is a practice of slow, technical discipline. Every artifact is born from the earth, either wheel-thrown or hand-built ensuring that no two pieces are identical. These are records of a moment spent at the wheel or at the table, made to be handled, lived with, and kept for a lifetime.
