The Form: An elongated, hand-built ceramic vessel defined by a sweeping Sherlock profile and tactile surface contrast. Crafted in rich brown stoneware, this original studio edition features a matte, speckled white glaze across the exterior body, sweeping up the long, tapered stem. The interior bowl, rim, and air cavity are finished in a smooth, clear gloss glaze, allowing the natural depth of the brown clay body to anchor the design.

The Spirit: Designed as a ceremonial stoneware artifact with an iconic, classic draw. With its extended stem and grounded, flat-bottomed base, the Pepa Sherlock rests securely on tabletop surfaces between uses, doubling as a quiet architectural object.

The Making: Hand-thrown and sculpted in small studio batches. The vessel is detailed with a side carb, hand-glazed with a matte speckled coat along the stem and body, and finished with a clear protective glaze inside the basin and chamber before firing.

The record of the hand

Cloud Commons is a practice of slow, technical discipline. Every artifact is born from the earth, either wheel-thrown or hand-built ensuring that no two pieces are identical. These are records of a moment spent at the wheel or at the table, made to be handled, lived with, and kept for a lifetime.
