Phthalo Rounded Bowl Downstem - Option A
Need a fresh downstem for your Cloud Commons bubbler? Or just in the mood to switch things up? Either way, we’ve got you. This replacement downstem features a larger, rounded bowl, glazed in a deep phthalo teal, fully coated inside and out for a smooth, glossy finish that’s ready to slide into your setup.
Each piece is hand-thrown on the wheel, shaped with care, and painted in that moody blue-green hue reminiscent of deep waters. As with any handcrafted item, slight variations in proportions and unique details make every downstem one of a kind. These nuances are a natural part of the process, adding individual character to each piece. Beauty marks are iconic :')
To clean: Place your downstem in a plastic bag or container with isopropyl alcohol and a bit of salt for gentle scrubbing action. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes—overnight for a deeper clean. Shake or swirl to break down residue, then rinse thoroughly. Follow up with dish soap and water, using a pipe cleaner if needed to reach the interior.
Approximate dimensions: 1.5 x 4”
The record of the hand
Cloud Commons is a practice of slow, technical discipline. Every artifact is born from the earth, either wheel-thrown or hand-built ensuring that no two pieces are identical. These are records of a moment spent at the wheel or at the table, made to be handled, lived with, and kept for a lifetime.
