Tinta Gorget
A wide-span crescent of gestural, high-contrast stoneware.
The Form: A singular, architectural plate defined by its clean, high-gloss canvas and crisp, hand-painted calligraphic linework. This sweeping silhouette traces the natural contour of the collarbone. The minimal black bands frame the perimeter of the crescent, accentuating its fluid curvature and tracking the elegant movement of light across the polished glaze.
The Spirit: The Gorget is a modern talisman drawing from the silhouette of ancient throat armor. Reimagined here as a sophisticated, graphic shield. It is a striking visual harmony of ink and earth, designed for the wearer who values the quiet confidence of a clean, deliberate mark.
The Making: I work the stoneware to a refined, deliberate thinness, creating a piece that is surprisingly lightweight and comfortable for extended wear. Because of this delicate, glass-like profile, the Gorget should be handled as a fine relic and a precious heirloom.

The record of the hand
Cloud Commons is a practice of slow, technical discipline. Every artifact is born from the earth, either wheel-thrown or hand-built ensuring that no two pieces are identical. These are records of a moment spent at the wheel or at the table, made to be handled, lived with, and kept for a lifetime.
